The Annual Mini and Junior Presentation Evenings of the Penzance & Newlyn RFC were held in the clubhouse early in May

End Of Season Newbury Festival

Under 10s Newbury Success

Playing at the end of the season in the prestigious Newbury Festival, the Pirates U10s had an enjoyable and successful day.

A 10-0 win against US Portsmouth in their opener was followed by two 5-all draws against Bournemouth and Huddersfield, qualifying them for a semi-final draw against High Wycombe in the Shield competition.

Winning that game 15-5 gave added confidence that the Shield trophy was in their grasp, which it was, them winning 10-0 in the final against strong hosts Newbury A.
